The Importance of Mentorship with Dr. Christopher Murdock - PGY 1 at Johns Hopkins
Hello and welcome to episode 2 of The Ortho Plug. This is an amazing episode where I had the pleasure of speaking with Christopher Murdock, a PGY 1 orthopedic surgery resident at John’s Hopkins. Among many other accomplishments, he is an Nth Dimensions scholar, co-founder of the Stand United Campaign which is focused on research targeted to help solve the problems of racial and ethnic inequities in health care, and he was his class president at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. In this episode, he shares his story and how he got to where he is, and really highlights the importance of mentorship in his journey. I hope you enjoy the episode.
